Established in 1988 by the City of Edinburgh Council, EDI is a private company which is 100% owned by the council.

We have grown steadily over the past 20 years, developing land and property on our own or through joint ventures with developers, landowners, local authorities and other public sector bodies. We also manage property assets worth over £70 million.
