Through EDI's office developments – the most notable of which is the award-winning Edinburgh Park – we have worked to strengthen the infrastructure of towns and cities, while delivering buildings that bring jobs, contribute architecturally and which are also environmentally responsible.
We have delivered a range of office developments, from Grade A open-plan accommodation at Pentad, and speculative units at Kilwinning in North Ayrshire, to the “A” listed, 18th Century Dolphin House in Edinburgh’s Old Town, which is our own headquarters.
In the near future, we will go on site with new office developments in mixed-use schemes at Freer Street Fountainbridge, Ratho Park and a second phase of Pentad.
We have had considerable success in building industrial units, thanks to strong partnerships. EDI's first industrial project was the A1 Industrial Park, developed in phases by Edinburgh Industrial Estates Limited, a joint venture between ourselves and J Smart & Co (Contractors) plc.
Our wider portfolio of industrial accommodation incudes Peffermill Industrial Estate, which forms a key part of PARC's plans to regenerate the whole Craigmillar area.
Speculative development is a feature of our work and when doing so, the designs aim to contribute to the built environment. The Clocktower Estate at South Gyle is a good example of our approach.
