EDI was initially set up in 1988 by the City of Edinburgh Council to carry out the development of Edinburgh Park, which is regarded as one of the principal business parks in Europe.

We now develop a wide range of property from business parks, offices and retail to factories, schools and community buildings; even parks and housing for the homeless.

We combine a commercial approach with a commitment to bringing architectural, environmental and social benefits to and through our projects. In doing so we've also established a reputation for the innovative nature and high quality of our developments in design stage to finishings, resulting in a number of awards.

We undertake regeneration projects such as the regeneration of the Tron area in Edinburgh and curently, together with the City of Edinburgh Council, we are redeveloping Craigmillar through the largest urban regeneration company in Scotland – PARC Craigmillar Limited.
