Fountainbridge Freer Street, Edinburgh

This is a contemporary mixed-use development consisting of 171 dwelling units, 8,000 sq ft commercial and 63,000 sq ft offices. The scheme will create a new street linking Lochrin Basin, the terminus of the Union Canal to Fountainbridge.

Following the receipt of Planning Approval in May 2006 and the conclusion of the required Section 75 Agreements the site was formally acquired in June 2007. Demolition of the existing buildings has been completed and the construction of the Enabling Works is due to commence in early 2008.

The delivery vehicle is Buredi Ltd a joint venture between EDI and The Burrell Company.
