Designed by Malcolm Fraser Architects the development will consist of 74 residential units with associated car parking above two storeys of commercial space extending to 15,000 ft sq. 

The development is located on the site of the former Madelvic Car Factory, which was built in the 19th century and was the first custom built car factory in Scotland.  The original car factory buildings, now derelict, are also to be refurbished and brought back in to beneficial use.  Affordable housing has also been provided on the site by Cairn Housing Association.

Planning permission has been granted and it is anticipated that construction will start in the first quarter of 2008.

The delivery vehicle is Buredi Ltd a joint venture between EDI and The Burrell Company.
