EDI has formed a Joint Venture Company with The City of Edinburgh Council to deliver the long term strategic regeneration of Craigmillar. This is a progression from the Masterplan Framework Document which was formally adopted by the Council in 2001.

The Company will be responsible for creating an estimated 2,000 new homes, a new secondary school, and three new primary schools, a new town centre with 300,000 sq ft of retail, leisure and office space, a new library, and providing for community and life long learning facilities.

The Company will also be responsible for ensuring delivery of an appropriate infrastructure for the area, integration of existing public and local authority provision and the creation of new landscaping, public parks and civic spaces.

The company is called PARC Craigmillar Ltd.

PARC homes are being marketed and sold in Craigmillar under the ParcLife name. The new homes are part of the vision to transform the capital’s city living, known as Edinburgh’s ‘Green Quarter’.
