Project Co-ordinator

Bruce Joined the EDI group in 2007 to support the social and community aspects of the company's regeneration projects.

Bruce is an engineer by training and worked in his early days in manufacturing industry. He transferred to the Further Education sector in 1980 and worked initially as a lecturer and then moved into management as the Head of the School of Building and Engineering and latterly Assistant Principal. In this role Bruce held a variety of responsibilities that included community liaison, employment and training initiatives for the long-term unemployed and vocational education initiatives for young people not attending school.

In his last three years in the FE sector Bruce had client responsibility for the internal design of the new Edinburgh's Telford College and for the change processes leading to the move of staff and students into a technologically advanced teaching and learning environment.

Keen on theatre, film and hill walking.
