Senior Development Planner

Will is a town planner with over 30 years' experience in both the public and private sectors. He initially worked on Development Plans with local authorities before representing Scottish housebuilders on planning issues, liaising with local and central government. Positions with house-building companies followed, initially being responsible for purchasing land for residential development, and latterly for the management side of the business.

Will joined EDI in 2005 as Senior Development Planner. He is involved with private housing projects throughout Edinburgh, including implementing proposals to increase housing for sale within the Craigmillar area of the city, where EDI is working to regenerate Craigmillar in joint venture with the City Council.
