Tim McKay is a newly elected councilor for the City of Edinburgh.  He is currently Vice-Convener of both the Economic Development and Regulatory Committees as well as Convener of the Pensions and Trusts Committee.  Tim is also a member of the Finance & Resources committee and a director of the EDI Group Limited, and its parent company CEC Holdings.  Prior to being elected a councillor Tim qualified as a Chartered Accountant and also as an Investment Analyst.  He has worked for a variety of Edinburgh based companies over the last 27 years and latterly was teaching at Napier University, where for 4 years he was Head of the Accounting and Finance group.
